UNDERSTANDING CLUB
Club volleyball is a competitive program that involves traveling for tournaments, higher intensity training, and a focus on collegiate pathways. Recreational leagues are typically local and focused on introduction to the sport.
The season runs from November 2026 through June 2027, including weekly practices and monthly tournament travel.
ABOUT PLACEMENTS
Placements are evaluations where our coaching staff assesses player skills (passing, hitting, setting,
footwork) to group athletes into teams based on ability and potential.
The number of teams and athletes in our club will depend on turnout for tryouts. Registration and tryouts does not guarantee team placement.
REGISTRATION
No, the registration fee is non-refundable as it covers facility rental and administrative costs for the evaluation process.
PLACEMENT DAY
Players must wear athletic clothing, knee pads, and court shoes. Please bring a labeled water bottle and arrive 30 minutes early for check-in.
Uniform fittings will be happening on Tryout Days as well.
ROSTER DECISIONS
Individual offers will be communicated directly with parents up to 3 days after Tryout Day.
SEASON COMMITMENT
Athletes are expected to practice 3x per week, except when games/tournaments are happening on Saturdays. Practices will happen either Monday/Wednesday nights or Tuesday/Thursday nights. Saturdays are for practices or games/tournaments.
Club season is from November to June with local games and tournaments projected to be every 2-3 weeks. As part of our club philosophy to keep costs down, our club will avoid travel games where an overnight stay is necessary.
PLAYING TIME
Playing time is earned through practice performance, attitude and tactical fit. While we strive for all players to see court time, specific amounts are not guaranteed, and are left to the discretion of the coach.
